What Often Happens in Multi-Vehicle Rollover Crashes
Rollover crashes can occur when vehicles collide at certain angles or when a driver loses control at highway speeds. Larger vehicles or sudden steering movements may increase the chance of tipping.
When multiple vehicles are involved, the force of one impact can trigger a chain reaction. Rollovers may block several lanes, especially on two-lane highways, leading to temporary road closures.
Emergency crews typically focus on checking for injuries, stabilizing overturned vehicles, and clearing debris. Once vehicles are removed and the roadway is inspected for hazards, traffic can safely resume.
