Arcanum, OH (August 25, 2026) – A young child was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Darke County.
The pedestrian-versus-vehicle crash happened at about 3 p.m. in the 200 block of State Route 503, near Arcanum. The child was airlifted from the site for treatment of serious injuries.
The child’s identity and age were not released in the initial report. Additional details about how the accident occurred had not been made public as of Tuesday.
