Cleveland, OH (January 14, 2026) – A rollover crash on Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of Superior Ave and East 40th St in Cleveland left a woman with injuries and temporarily blocked traffic in the area, according to dispatch audio.
The incident occurred around 12:00 p.m. on January 13, when a Jeep reportedly struck a light pole and overturned. Emergency crews arrived to find the vehicle on its roof with a woman trapped inside. Firefighters quickly worked to extricate the victim while medical personnel assessed her condition.
A small dog was also found at the scene, though no injuries to the animal were reported. Witnesses noted that despite the dramatic nature of the crash, there did not appear to be life-threatening injuries. The woman was treated for non-critical injuries, and the eastbound lanes on Superior Ave were shut down temporarily as responders managed the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
