Clovis, CA (February 1, 2026) – Four people, including three children, were hospitalized Friday night after a serious three-vehicle crash caused by a red light violation at the intersection of Shaw Ave and Armstrong Ave in Clovis. The crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. on January 30, according to the Clovis Police Department.
First responders, including Clovis Fire and emergency medical services, were quick to arrive on scene and provide care to those injured in the collision. Emergency crews worked to stabilize and transport the victims, including a woman and three children who were riding in one of the vehicles involved.
According to preliminary findings, the driver of a Subaru was traveling eastbound on Shaw Ave when she reportedly became distracted by her GPS and failed to stop at a red light. The Subaru struck a Chevrolet that was entering the intersection from Armstrong Ave. The impact caused the Chevrolet to collide with a third vehicle, while the Subaru veered off the roadway, crashing through a brick wall and coming to rest in the backyard of a nearby residence.
All four occupants of the Chevrolet were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The severity of their injuries has not been disclosed. The driver of the Subaru and others involved were evaluated at the scene, though further medical outcomes remain unconfirmed.
Authorities have not released the identities of the parties involved, and no arrests have been announced at this time. The Clovis Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances of the crash.
Our thoughts are with the victims and their families, and we wish everyone involved a full and speedy recovery.
