How Attention on Highways Can Prevent Serious Crashes
Highway crashes can happen in an instant, often due to distractions, sudden stops, or mechanical issues. Even when no other vehicles are involved, high-speed roadways like I-75 can magnify the impact of a collision. Officials remind drivers to remain alert, maintain safe following distances, and observe posted speed limits, especially in rural stretches with limited visibility.
Factors such as tire condition, brake performance, and proper load securing can prevent vehicles from losing control unexpectedly. Staying vigilant and taking preventative measures can reduce the risk of injury and help keep highways safer for everyone.
