Colville, WA (January 7, 2026) – A serious two-vehicle collision fully blocked Highway 20 about one mile east of Colville on Monday afternoon, prompting an emergency airlift for one injured driver. The crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. near milepost 356, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find both vehicles with significant damage, and traffic halted in both directions while crews worked to assist those involved. Due to the severity of the injuries sustained, one individual was transported by air ambulance to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
