Myrtle Beach, SC (August 24, 2026) – One person was injured after smoke filled a commercial building on Saturday night, August 22, in the Carolina Forest area. The incident occurred around 7:01 p.m. in the 2000 block of Oakheart Road.
Fire crews responded after smoke was reported throughout the building. Officials said the incident was brought under control, and the source of the smoke was located and isolated. Crews planned to ventilate the building to remove remaining smoke.
