Council Bluffs, IA (January 12, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision involving a gold pickup and a Jeep left two females injured on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of North 30th St and Avenue H in Council Bluffs.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:13 p.m., prompting a response from both law enforcement and medical units. Upon arrival, responders found one woman in her early twenties and another female, possibly a teenager, both reporting head injuries. Despite their injuries, both were conscious and breathing at the scene.
Medics provided immediate treatment and prepared the individuals for further evaluation at a nearby hospital. The vehicles involved sustained damage consistent with the impact, and the roadway was partially blocked while the scene was secured.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and have not yet released further details.
