Covington, KY (January 23, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident on the northbound side of I-75 left one woman injured on Thursday morning, January 22, near the 190.4 mile marker in Covington.
The crash occurred along the left shoulder of I-75 North and involved a Tesla and a gray Toyota Highlander. Emergency crews, including Truck One, Rescue One, and Ambulance One, were dispatched to the scene just after 10:30 AM. Responders coordinated access via Kyles Ln due to location constraints.
A female occupant from one of the vehicles was evaluated for facial pain and sustained injuries requiring medical attention. Officials described the incident as a two-car crash with moderate damage and noted that the woman’s injuries, while not life-threatening, did warrant care on scene.
Traffic flow in the area remained partially restricted as emergency crews operated from the left shoulder to manage the situation and assist the injured party. The accident scene was stabilized shortly after responders arrived.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing, and further details may be released as they become available.
We extend our well wishes to the woman injured in the accident and hope for her full recovery.
