How Impaired Driving Can Lead to Property Damage Crashes
Crashes involving impaired drivers often result in unpredictable vehicle behavior, including failure to brake, improper steering, or loss of control. In areas with nearby businesses, this can lead to vehicles leaving the roadway and striking buildings or other structures.
Even when injuries are avoided, these crashes can still cause costly property damage and pose serious risks to anyone inside or near the impacted structure. Driving under the influence significantly reduces reaction time and judgment, making it one of the leading contributing factors in preventable accidents.
