Pensacola, FL (July 1, 2026) – One person lost their life following a T-bone collision at the intersection of Scenic Highway and Langley Avenue in Pensacola on Monday afternoon, June 29.
The crash happened around 1:15 p.m. when a car pulled out of Chimney Park into the path of an approaching pickup truck. The two vehicles struck each other, leaving the driver of the car dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver was hurt but sustained only minor injuries.
Emergency units remained at the roadway for several hours while crews worked to clear the damaged vehicles and document what happened. Scenic Highway was shut down in both directions until about 4 p.m. before traffic resumed.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation as more information is gathered.
