Cumberland, MD (January 20, 2026) – An auto accident with injuries was reported Tuesday afternoon on the eastbound side of I-68 near mile marker 43 in Cumberland, prompting a multi-unit emergency response.
The incident occurred around 4:36 p.m. and involved units from the Cumberland Fire Department, including CFDE1, CFDR1, and CFDM345. Upon arrival, crews found at least one individual in need of medical attention as a result of the collision.
