Houston, TX (September 13, 2026) – Authorities arrived at the scene where a woman was killed on Friday morning, September 11, after being struck in a hit-and-run collision in southwest Houston in the 9500 block of Wilcrest Drive near Bissonnet Street. The incident was reported around 6:15 a.m.
Officers found the woman in the median near the intersection. She was taken to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police said the woman was 46, but her identity remains pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. No information about the striking vehicle or driver was immediately available.The fatal hit-and-run remains under investigation.
