Denton, TX (January 12, 2026) – A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision with a car along S Interstate 35, prompting a medical response and traffic disruptions in the area.
The incident occurred on January 11 around 10:30 a.m. near the 76210 block of S Interstate 35. According to emergency dispatch audio, the rider was traveling along the roadway when he was struck by a car moving at approximately 30 miles per hour. The impact reportedly threw the motorcyclist an estimated ten to fifteen feet.
Emergency responders treated the rider at the scene. He complained of pain in his leg and elbow, and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The injured man was stabilized with a cervical collar and administered IV medication before being transported to Medical City Denton for further care.
Authorities have not yet released additional details on the circumstances of the crash or whether any citations have been issued. Investigators are continuing to review the events leading up to the collision.
