Waterbury, CT (January 12, 2026) – A single-vehicle crash on Route 8 near an exit ramp in Waterbury left two people injured on Sunday evening, according to dispatch communications.
The collision occurred around 7:10 p.m. Emergency units from the local fire department, police, and ambulance services responded to the scene to assist those involved. Initial reports indicated that two occupants sustained injuries in the crash.
Both individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation. The extent of their injuries has not been released at this time.
