Detroit, MI (January 28, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision near the intersection of Six Mile Rd and Comet prompted a high-priority emergency response on Tuesday evening, leaving at least two individuals injured and requiring transport for medical treatment.
The incident took place around 7:07 p.m. and involved several vehicles blocking portions of the roadway. Detroit Fire and EMS crews arrived quickly to assess the scene and provide aid. Two people were reportedly injured in the crash and transported to nearby medical facilities for evaluation. The conditions of those injured have not been publicly disclosed.
In addition to the traffic response, officers noted nearby marijuana use complaints in the area, though it remains unclear if those reports were related to the crash. Emergency crews remained on scene for an extended period to clear the vehicles and document the circumstances.
