Detroit, MI (January 31, 2026) – Three individuals were transported to St. John’s Grace Hospital early on January 30 following a motor vehicle accident near Outer Dr W in Detroit. The crash involved a single vehicle sustaining front-end damage, and all patients were reported to be conscious with stable vital signs at the time of transport.
According to EMS radio reports, the first patient was a 62-year-old male who sustained left-hand and neck pain. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and airbags deployed inside the vehicle. He was placed in a cervical collar for support and showed no signs of loss of consciousness. His blood pressure was elevated at 200/108, but he remained alert and oriented.
The second patient, a 36-year-old female, was an unrestrained passenger. She complained of pain in her left knee and the left side of her head. No back or neck injuries were reported, and she remained conscious and stable throughout the evaluation. Airbags deployed in her portion of the vehicle as well.
The third individual, a 34-year-old male, also suffered left-sided head pain but was reportedly restrained at the time of the crash. He did not lose consciousness and exhibited no signs of spinal injury. His vital signs, along with those of the female patient, remained stable during transport.
The collision reportedly occurred at low to moderate speed—approximately 20 to 25 miles per hour—though the cause of the incident has not been officially confirmed. The accident remains under investigation by local authorities.
We extend our thoughts to all three individuals and wish them a full and smooth recovery following this accident.
