White House, TN (July 19, 2026) – A driver died after a cargo van and semi-truck collided on southbound Interstate 65 near mile marker 106 overnight on Saturday, July 18.
According to the White House Community Volunteer Fire Department, the cargo van driver was killed in the crash. The semi-truck driver was not injured. The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported that a preliminary review showed the driver of the cargo van was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The interstate was closed for several hours while officials investigated and cleared the scene. The incident remains under review by authorities. Our condolences go out to the victim’s loved ones.
