Clarkson, NY (August 20, 2026) – A driver died on Thursday morning after an SUV collided with a farm tractor towing a set of discs on Lake Road near Lawton Road, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The crash happened around 5:55 a.m. as the SUV was heading north.
The SUV’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released. The tractor operator was not injured or impaired and is cooperating with the investigation.
Lake Road was closed in both directions between Lawton Road and Woodstock Lane before reopening. No further details have been released.
