Aliquippa, PA (July 8, 2026) – A suspected impaired driver was arrested on Tuesday night, July 7, after a fatal pedestrian crash in Aliquippa, Beaver County. The collision happened shortly after 10 p.m. in the 2600 block of Brodhead Road.
State police identified the man who was struck as 68-year-old Jeffrey Owens. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the driver involved was believed to be under the influence at the time of the crash. The driver was arrested at the scene and taken to a hospital for a blood draw. No additional information about the circumstances leading up to the collision has been released.
