Industry, CA (June 20, 2026) – An early morning traffic collision involving multiple vehicles temporarily shut down southbound Interstate 605 near the Valley Boulevard off-ramp in the City of Industry.
According to dispatch records, the accident was reported at approximately 3:59 a.m. on June 19. Initial information indicated a silver Kia and a silver Lexus sedan were involved. Additional reports referenced a white sedan and a truck that had reportedly been stopped on the freeway before the collision occurred.
An automated crash notification from a mobile device was also received near the same stretch of roadway shortly after the initial reports. As crews worked in the area, all southbound lanes of I-605 near Valley Boulevard were temporarily held, creating significant traffic disruptions. Later updates indicated that lanes three, four, and five remained restricted before traffic conditions gradually improved.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway. By approximately 5:07 a.m., all lanes had reopened, and the vehicles had been cleared from the roadway.
