Upper Yoder Twp., PA (July 6, 2026) – A reported house explosion left a burn patient hurt early on Monday, July 6, on the 500 block of Harshberger Road in Upper Yoder Township. The blast was reported at about 6:52 a.m.
Emergency units were called to the home after the initial dispatch reported a burn patient. Multiple crews were requested to assist at the property.
A later scanner update indicated the explosion was gas-related. The same update said the side C portion of the structure was compromised. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
