Flint, MI (August 25, 2026) – Eight people were injured on Sunday morning, August 23, after a church bus and a car collided near Ann Arbor Street and West Fifth Street. The crash was reported at approximately 11:06 a.m.
Police said the bus was traveling east on West Fifth Street when it was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Malibu.
Two women riding on the bus were taken to a local hospital in critical condition. By Monday, one of those women had improved to good condition. Six other bus passengers were evaluated at the scene for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under review. We hope all eight injured passengers make a full recovery.
