Sacramento, CA (August 25, 2026) – A pedestrian was injured on Monday morning, August 24, after a driver struck them and left the area in the 5700 block of Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento. It happened around 7:22 a.m., in front of a library along the boulevard. Stockton Boulevard is a major commercial corridor that runs through several Sacramento neighborhoods.
The pedestrian sustained a foot injury, according to initial reports. Fire crews responded to treat the person.
It was not immediately clear which library the incident occurred in front of. The search for the driver remains active, and we hope for the pedestrian’s full recovery.
