Englewood, FL (January 20, 2026) – Multiple individuals were injured in a car accident Monday afternoon at the intersection of Pine St and Medical Blvd, near Englewood Community Hospital. Emergency personnel from Englewood Station 71 responded promptly to the scene.
The crash was reported at approximately 4:54 p.m. and involved more than one vehicle. Upon arrival, medics assisted victims who had sustained varying injuries. On-site treatment was administered, and at least one injured party required transport to a nearby medical facility for further care.
The intersection was partially obstructed while crews worked to manage the scene, treat those involved, and ensure the area was safe for through traffic. The presence of nearby medical facilities allowed for relatively swift access to extended care for those hurt in the accident.
