What Investigators Typically Review After a Crash at a Commercial Driveway Entrance
Crashes at business entrances often involve vehicles entering or exiting parking areas simultaneously while traffic is passing on a main road. Investigators usually examine how each vehicle moved relative to the driveway and roadway before impact.
Traffic speed along the highway is also reviewed, along with visibility near the entrance. Parked cars, signage, and turning movements can sometimes limit how clearly drivers see approaching vehicles.
Witness statements and roadway markings may help reconstruct the sequence of events. In many cases, investigators also review vehicle damage patterns to determine the angle and force of the collision and how each vehicle contributed to the crash outcome.
