How Burn Injuries From House Fires Can Progress Over Time
Burn injuries can vary in severity depending on how long a person is exposed to heat or flames. Even when burns initially appear manageable, complications may develop hours or days later.
In some cases, patients are transferred to specialized burn centers for advanced treatment. These facilities are equipped to handle complex injuries that require close monitoring and ongoing care.
Recovery from burns can be unpredictable, as the body may respond differently over time. Factors such as infection risk and tissue damage can affect outcomes, even after early medical treatment has been provided.
