Maui, HI (June 17, 2026) – A head-on collision was reported on Tuesday evening, June 16, on Kahekili Highway near Kaukini Loop in Maui.
The report listed the accident near mile markers 12 and 13. One vehicle had flipped over and was blocking the roadway, according to the initial alert. Emergency units were called after the roadway was blocked. Because of this, drivers were advised to use caution near that stretch of Kahekili Highway.
