Fairfax County, VA (January 12, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on Fairfax County Parkway caused delays and led to at least one reported injury Thursday morning near the intersection of Hemphill Dr and Hemphill Ave.
The crash, reported around 9:22 a.m., involved a gray SUV and a blue sedan. Emergency crews, including fire personnel, responded to the scene to provide aid and manage the traffic impact. One of the drivers was reportedly experiencing back pain and received medical attention.
Portions of the parkway were temporarily closed while responders worked to secure the area and assist those involved. The extent of the injuries has not been officially released, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
