Glynn County, GA (July 16, 2026) – A fatal crash shut down northbound Interstate 95 at Exit 42 in Glynn County early on Wednesday morning, July 15.
Authorities reported that all northbound lanes were initially blocked as emergency crews responded to the scene. Traffic was diverted off the interstate using the Exit 42 off-ramp while first responders investigated the crash and worked to clear the roadway.
By approximately 10:32 a.m., Glynn County police announced that two northbound lanes had reopened. Officials have not yet released information about the number of vehicles involved or the identity of the person who died. The circumstances surrounding the fatal crash remain under investigation.
