Motorcycle and Large Truck Safety
Motorcycles are smaller than passenger vehicles and can be harder for drivers to see, particularly when traveling near large trucks. Motorcyclists should remain in their lane, maintain a safe speed, and avoid sudden movements that can place them in the path of other vehicles.
Truck drivers also need to check surrounding lanes and blind spots before changing direction or position. Leaving enough space between vehicles gives both motorists and motorcyclists more time to respond to unexpected traffic movements.
