We extend our sincere condolences to Mark Rose’s family and loved ones and hope for Linda Rose’s recovery.

Why Can Head-On Crashes Cause Severe Injuries?

Head-on crashes can produce powerful impacts because two vehicles are moving toward each other. The force of the collision can cause extensive vehicle damage and serious injuries to occupants.

Several factors can affect the severity of a head-on crash, including vehicle speed, impact angle, roadway conditions, and whether occupants were properly restrained. The location and pattern of vehicle damage may also help show how the collision occurred.

Drivers can reduce the risk of these crashes by maintaining their lane, staying focused, and adjusting their speed to roadway conditions. Extra attention is also helpful on roads where vehicles traveling in opposite directions share the same roadway.
