Crawford County, MO (August 15, 2026) – Four people were injured on Thursday evening after a 2006 Honda Accord left MO-E and overturned in Crawford County. The accident happened around 5:57 p.m.
The 17-year-old female driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. An 18-year-old male passenger had moderate injuries and was taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan.
Two other passengers, both 22-year-old men, were also hurt. One suffered minor injuries and was taken to Missouri Baptist Hospital, while the other had serious injuries and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
The report states the Honda traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected, crossed the center of the roadway, and left the road again. It struck an embankment, overturned, and ejected all four occupants. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
