Fresno, CA (January 13, 2026) – A male bicyclist was injured in a reported hit-and-run collision on January 12 near the McCormick Building in Fresno. The incident occurred in the area of Clinton Ave and Blythe Ave, with the injured cyclist later walking to the location to report the crash.
According to emergency dispatch audio, the man was struck by a vehicle while riding near the south end of the McCormick Building, close to North Fresno St. The driver reportedly fled the scene following the impact. The cyclist made his way to a nearby location where he was able to notify authorities of the incident.
Emergency medical services were dispatched and responded to evaluate the victim’s injuries. His current condition has not been released. Officers arriving at the scene also made contact with a female and two additional adults who may have had information related to the crash.
The incident remains under investigation, and no description of the suspect vehicle has been confirmed.
