Fresno, CA (January 13, 2026) – A hit-and-run crash near the intersection of Herndon Ave and N Cedar Ave left one woman injured on January 12. The incident occurred shortly before 2:22 p.m. and involved a sideswipe collision, according to dispatch audio and reports from emergency personnel.
The reporting party, who was driving a black Range Rover, told authorities she was sideswiped by a gray Honda SUV and was experiencing hip pain following the impact. EMS was requested to the scene to evaluate her injuries. She relocated to the old Applebee’s parking lot nearby to await medical assistance and speak with officers.
The suspect vehicle, described as a gray Honda SUV with an unknown license plate, fled the scene heading westbound toward the St. Agnes area. Responding units initiated a search for the hit-and-run driver, though no arrests or updates have been confirmed as of this writing.
The Fresno Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
