Gastonia, NC (January 10, 2026) – A multi-patient vehicle crash with injuries was reported Friday evening near Court Dr in Gastonia. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and transported three individuals to CaroMont Regional Medical Center for trauma evaluations.
The incident occurred around 6:18 p.m. on January 9. According to EMS communications, one of the patients—a 31-year-old female who was riding unrestrained in the back seat—suffered a head laceration and was experiencing confusion. Her Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score was reported as 14, indicating mild disorientation. The patient, who primarily speaks Spanish, had controlled bleeding and stable vital signs upon transport.
Two other individuals from the crash were also evaluated under trauma activation protocol. The full details of their injuries have not yet been disclosed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
