Georgetown, DE (May 7, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Thursday evening to a two-vehicle crash on County Seat Highway in Georgetown.
According to dispatch reports, the collision occurred around 5:43 p.m. in the area of 16450 County Seat Highway. Georgetown Fire Company, Georgetown EMS, medics, and Delaware State Police Aviation Trooper 2 were initially dispatched to the scene following reports of a crash involving possible entrapment.
First arriving crews later advised that no entrapment was found at the scene. Officials confirmed that one patient required evaluation and treatment by EMS personnel.
Authorities also stated that Aviation Trooper 2 was ultimately not needed for transport.
No additional details regarding the cause of the crash or the extent of injuries have been released at this time.
