Rear-End Collisions Between Large Trucks Can Be Severe
Rear-end crashes involving large trucks can result in serious injuries due to the size and weight of the vehicles. When one truck strikes another from behind, the impact can cause major damage to the front vehicle and its cab.
Speed control is a key factor in preventing these types of crashes. At highway speeds, even a slight delay in slowing can have a significant impact.
Seat belt use and proper positioning can also affect safety during a crash. Being securely restrained may reduce movement inside the vehicle and lower the risk of severe injury.
