Harris County, TX (May 13, 2026) – A 14-year-old girl was injured on Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle near the Atascocita area of Harris County.
Emergency units responded shortly after 9 a.m. to the intersection of Madera Run Pkwy and Lupine Meadow Lane following reports of a crash involving a bicyclist and a vehicle. Authorities said the teenage rider was injured in the collision and received medical attention at the scene.
The extent of the girl’s injuries has not yet been released. Additional details regarding the vehicle involved and the circumstances leading up to the incident have also not been confirmed.
Westbound traffic in the area was impacted while crews worked at the scene and investigators reviewed the crash.
