Highway Safety and Teen Drivers
Single-vehicle crashes can be especially dangerous for young drivers, particularly during early morning hours when visibility and alertness may be reduced. Authorities emphasize the importance of driving attentively, obeying speed limits, and maintaining full control of the vehicle at all times.
Passengers should also use proper seat belts, and parents are encouraged to discuss safe driving practices with teens. Quick response from emergency personnel can significantly reduce the severity of injuries and improve outcomes following crashes.
