Howard County, IN (July 18, 2026) – Rescue and Emergency units responded to the 1500 block of South Bethlehem Road on Thursday, July 16, after a reported head-on crash with injuries. The collision led to a large emergency response as crews worked to assist those involved and secure the area.
One injured person was reported to require air transport, prompting the establishment of a landing zone near the church at SR-18 and Bethlehem. A second ground ambulance was also requested, and a medical helicopter was later dispatched to the scene after another aircraft was unable to complete the transport.
