How Road Rage Incidents Can Lead to Serious Crashes
Road rage incidents often involve aggressive driving behaviors such as tailgating, speeding, or unsafe lane changes. These actions can increase the risk of collisions, especially when drivers react emotionally rather than safely.
Sideswipe crashes may occur when a vehicle moves into another lane without enough space. This can cause the struck vehicle to lose control or leave the roadway. Off-ramps and merging areas can be especially risky due to changing speeds and limited space.
Vehicle damage and driver injuries can result even in lower-speed incidents. Maintaining a safe following distance and staying calm during stressful traffic situations can help reduce the risk of crashes caused by aggressive driving.
