Oklahoma City, OK (July 10, 2026) – A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash near SW 61st Street and May Avenue shortly after midnight on Wednesday, July 8.
The police said they received a report of a pedestrian crash and arrived to find the man lying in the roadway. The driver involved initially left the scene but later returned and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities said they do not believe speed or impairment were factors in the crash at this time. Officials have not released the victim’s identity, and no witnesses were reported to have seen the collision occur.
