Riverside, CA (September 14, 2026) – A hit-and-run crash involving injuries was reported Saturday, September 12, at Harley Knox Boulevard and southbound Interstate 215 in Riverside.
The California Highway Patrol initially classified the incident as a hit-and-run without injuries before changing it to a hit-and-run with injuries at approximately 5:53 a.m. A black Kia was reported stopped in the westbound lanes, while an Amazon Prime big rig was identified as the suspected vehicle involved.
The incident was reported shortly after 5:30 a.m. CHP requested additional fire resources and a tow service as crews responded to the scene. The circumstances of the crash and the extent of the reported injuries were not immediately available.
