Hurricane, UT (January 14, 2026) – A serious UTV rollover incident near the Top of the World area in Sand Hollow left four individuals injured on Monday, prompting a major response from emergency crews and multiple Life Flight units.
The crash occurred in a remote off-road area, requiring coordination between ground and air medical services. Initial reports confirmed at least two of the four victims had sustained visible traumatic injuries. As the situation developed, Life Flight helicopters were dispatched to the scene, with two patients airlifted to nearby hospitals. A third patient was later flown out, and a fourth was transported by ground ambulance.
Emergency personnel from Washington County and surrounding agencies worked to stabilize the injured on-site before arranging transport. Due to the terrain and severity of injuries, emergency response required additional resources and extended time at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released details about the cause of the rollover or the identities of those involved. An investigation is underway to determine the factors that led to the crash in the popular recreational area.
Our thoughts are with the injured as they receive care, and we hope for their full and swift recovery.
