Indianapolis, IN (January 28, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident with reported injuries occurred on January 27 on the eastbound on-ramp to the Sam Jones Expressway from I-70 in Indianapolis. The crash involved a white Capital City coach van and a silver Chevy sedan.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after the incident was reported around 11:10 a.m. Medics were dispatched to provide treatment to at least one person hurt in the collision, though the severity of injuries has not been disclosed.

Both vehicles sustained damage, and the on-ramp was partially impacted as responders worked to assist the injured and clear the roadway. No additional vehicles were involved, and officials have not yet confirmed the total number of occupants.
