Indianapolis, IN (January 10, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash in front of the Jiffy Lube near East Stop 11 Rd and US-31 resulted in injuries to at least one person Friday evening. Emergency responders arrived on scene to evaluate those involved, including an adult female who reported head pain after striking her head on the window during the collision.
The accident, which occurred around 7:00 p.m., involved a gray Hyundai Santa Fe and a gray SUV. Fortunately, the vehicles were not blocking traffic, allowing responders to assist the injured without major disruption to nearby roadways. Medics determined that the female victim was awake, alert, and breathing, and she was treated at the scene before being transported for further evaluation.
Although the crash appeared to be moderate in nature, first responders treated it with caution given the report of head trauma. Police also conducted background checks as part of their standard procedure but found no DUI involvement in this case.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash. No additional injuries or citations have been confirmed at this time.
