Why Are Crashes More Likely at Intersections Like Avenue 44 and Saguaro Gate?
Intersections such as Avenue 44 and Saguaro Gate can create risk due to turning movements. When injuries are reported in Indio, crews often work to stabilize traffic flow while managing the scene.
Drivers approaching intersections may slow, stop, or turn at the same time as other vehicles moving in different directions. These changing movements can increase the chance of collisions when drivers misjudge speed or distance.
Busy crossroads often bring together traffic from residential streets and larger roads. When a crash occurs, nearby lanes may slow while crews assist those involved and clear the area so normal travel can resume.
