Boardman, OH (June 27, 2026) – Injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle crash that slowed traffic on the Ohio Turnpike near Route 224 in Boardman.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of the Ohio Turnpike just south of Route 224 on Thursday, June 25. Initial reports indicate a semi-truck and at least one other vehicle were involved. The semi came to rest, blocking part of the roadway and causing significant traffic delays while emergency units responded.
The extent of the reported injuries has not been released. Traffic was backed up as crews worked at the scene, but both vehicles were later removed, and all lanes reopened.
