Oklahoma City, OK (July 1, 2026) – At least one person was hurt in a four-vehicle collision Tuesday morning near the intersection of SW 24th Street and Robinson Avenue in southwest Oklahoma City. Emergency units were called to the roadway after the multi-vehicle crash blocked part of the intersection.
Video from the scene showed four vehicles involved, including a food truck. A minivan sustained heavy damage, and tow trucks were brought in to remove both the minivan and the food truck from the roadway.
The collision was classified as an injury accident, although the number of people hurt and the severity of their injuries had not been released. The identities of those involved were not made public immediately.
Investigators continue working to determine what led to the wreck. We hope those affected by the collision recover quickly.
Why Multi-Vehicle Collisions Can Take Longer to Investigate
Crashes involving several vehicles often require a more detailed review because investigators must determine the sequence in which each vehicle became involved. Physical evidence, such as tire marks, vehicle damage, debris patterns, and the final resting positions of the vehicles, can help establish how the collision unfolded.
Witness statements, traffic camera footage, and vehicle data may also be examined to better understand the actions of each driver before the crash. When commercial vehicles, such as food trucks, are involved, investigators may also review additional records related to the vehicle if needed. These investigations can take longer than those involving only two vehicles because each vehicle’s movements must be carefully documented before a final determination is made.
